    So as the title says, i always see the tip to change the hdmi input to pc for games. Bit it has a game option for input name.

    Im not talking about scene select, as i always have that as game, but specifically naming inputs.

    I couldnt find a reasoning exactly on google

    All-in-one PCs sometimes provide an HDMI input that allows for external sources to be displayed on the AIO's monitor. That may work.



    HDMI ports on the back of a PC case (separate from the display) are typically outputs, not inputs.

    I assume you mean a game on PC. What game are you talking about, and what exactly happened to your WASD input? Was it changed to cursor input? Or Gamepad input?

    Hi,

    It depends on your PC. HDMI output and HDMI input are two different things.

    Often the HDMI ports on PCs are output only. They're intended to send information to another device like a monitor or TV. They usually don't accept input.

    Your PC might be set up for HDMI input but if it's not settings then possibly not.

    If your monitor has an HDMI input, simply plug the Xbox One HDMI cord into the monitor. You may need to change the input on your monitor if you have your PC plugged in as well.
