    Change GT for security reasons


    I was threatened by the GT BlackRedneck79 that he was going to "find where you live". He already has information incudling my first name, age, and state. I spoke to a customer service rep on chat that will be providing further documentation. I want to be
    provided a gamertag change so i can no longer be harassed or threatened. Thank you.

    My Xbox account won't migrate to my region!

    Hey The Rabid Hobo,



    Go to Xbox.com, (if not logged in already) log in and then go to the home page and click My Account--->Then click Security, family & forms--->Change Account Region. Once you click Change Account region it will make you log in again for security reasons then
    you can change it!

    On the console, sign in with your account to change then do Settings | Account (Account Management) | -> -> Account Security | Change Microsoft Account

    If someone harasses you in xbox live just report that person or block him from further harassment

    Regarding threats on your persona you should contact your local law enforcement

    Don't use other gtags in the forums for naming or shaming

    A gamertag change won't help. That person could have already added you to their friend list (possibly to a separate account with ONLY your account on it), and he would immediately know your new Gamertag.

    If you are being harassed by that person, report him with the console's reporting feature. Specifically report the threatening messages where they threaten to "find where you live" and where they provide your personal information.

    Then block that person from contacting you with the block feature on that person's Profile page.

    Should they use multiple accounts to get around that block, consider setting your online and privacy settings to "Friends only" on
    Sign in to your Microsoft account so only people you have on your own friend list are able to contact you.
