    I had to change the email on my xbox account as i had to delete the email account as it had security issues and someone was accessing my account. However as i tried to do this it is saying that i now cant access parts of my microsoft account for over a month
    until the process is complete. it says not too worry though as i can log in as normal with my previous details. but will my purchases and credit card information still be sent to this email? For obvious reasons i dont want to be sending any information to
    this email and want all my details changed immediatly.

    Hey I wonder how to get my account 2 another email? This is my girlfriends email and I want to use my own now. I had a few problems before when I created the live account so I used my girl´s . Thank you for help change email :)

    Hey there, Dallas85

    If you have changed which Microsoft Account (Email Account) your gamertag is linked to, then all of the information will need to be entered into the new account. The system will send out news letters and billing emails to the new account it is attached to.
    You should be able to see which email account it is using when you are signing into your account or when you visit:
    Sign in to your Microsoft account.

    The other account will take some time to delete it self, as it will have to be permanently deleted from the servers that it is saved on - Which are multiple for safety reasons. This generally takes up to 10 days before the action is fully completed. Once
    it has been deleted, you will not be able to recover it again.

    Changing Microsoft emails does not take 30 days to complete. From how you describe it. You initiated security change. That will lock the account for 30 days for any changes. But it won't affect your gaming nor playing online games. This does not change the
    email attached to the account. It just change the security email for the account itself. So you will still be using the same email to sign in the account. But when you need to verify it. You will have the option to send the verification code to the new email
    you have added.

    I guess you're talking about security proofs, right? Are you trying to add you're existing gamertag as a proof? In that case you would get that message. You have to add a different e-mail address, in case you ever have to prove your identity. More onfo on

    However, you need to have the password for the old Microsoft Account (i.e.,, the email addresse) before you can change it on the console.

    yeah man,

    Just create another microsoft account-you can go to account.live.com to do this.

    After that get on the xbox-sign in with your profile-on the dashboard go to the right to settings-choose profile-choose account security-choose change microsoft account.

    In order to do this it will ask you for the current email address and password and then the email address and password of the new microsoft account.

    after that you should be good to go.
