    How do I change the email address associated with my XBox account if I no longer have access to the email address that I originally used to setup my gamer profile? When I try to change my email address, I am prompted to sign into the original email account that I used in order to verify identity, but I no longer have access to that account because it was a school account that got shut down after I graduated.

    Technically transfers cannot be do but you can change the email address associated with a microsoft account.

    In order to associate the gamertag with another account you will need to create a whole account with an email address and then do the following to associate the gamertag to that account. How

    We have the same problem. I wanted to change email address’ as old email is no longer accessible. I have filled out the verification form twice. First attempt was met with a reply saying I had to contact my internet provider, second reply was congratulations we have verified your account. I still can’t log into profile as Microsoft are saying it’s going to take one month to change the details.

    So in conclusion I can’t log into my profile as they’re sending verification codes to my old inaccessible email address...extremely frustrating!

    If you mean you want to change the Windows Live ID, as in the login email, it's fairl straight-forward.

    Sign in, press your guide button (silver button in middle of controller), go to the right and select 'Account Management', go to the right again on this screen and select 'Windows Live ID', then select 'Change Windows Live ID'. Hopefully that helps :)
