Change email address on xbox

Just change the email address on xbox account 2 to some free email address and once that is done change the email address on Account 1 to the address that was on account 2.

Do you have an Xbox account too? Or did you just set up his account with your email?

1. Sign in to your Hotmail email via https://account.microsoft.com.
2. Go to Your info at the top of the page.
3. Select Manage how you sign in to Microsoft.
4. Select Add email. You can create either a new Outlook.com email address or add an address that you already have. Then, select Add alias. After you’re returned to the previous screen, select Verify, and then follow the instructions that are provided.

Once done, make sure to select the new email address as the primary alias because removing the old email which is your Hotmail will delete the whole Microsoft account including the Xbox profile.

Select a new primary before you remove the old one. To do so, select one of the other aliases that are on the account, and then select Make primary.

Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Each Microsoft account has an Xbox account associated with it. If your ex-husband used your email address when signing into Xbox, then he will need to create a new account. The only problem with this is that he would need to start over, which will include purchases that are on your account as the games he has purchased using your account are tied to your account.

I know this is the information you, or your ex, will be wanting to read. However, there isn't a way to transfer content from one account to another.
