    Sorry but once a birthdate is set on an account it can't be changed.

    I believe this is correct and you will be charged something like a .05 cents to prove your an adult because only people over the age of 18 is allowed to have a credit card. Give it a try. Worst case contact xbox/microsoft support directly too:

    Also you can't change your age it's been confirmed by xbox support forum agents

    Hey Xwarrior,

    Did this account graduate naturally from a child account to an adult account or was there a birthday change attempt? You can change the birthdate to the Microsoft account but it will not change the birthdate that was entered originally to the Xbox profile.

    In other words, a child account will remain a child account until it graduates naturally to an adult account. No way around it.

    You cannot change a child account to an adult account until the birthdate that you originally entered turns 18. You cannot change that birthdate at all.

    The birthdate that is set when creating an Xbox account is permanent. It cannot be changed. Changing the birthdate in your Microsoft account details does not change the date as far as Xbox is concerned.

    You can only change a child account to an adult account once the birthdate reaches 18.
