    Change backward compatibility disc game language


    I accidentally bought a Japanese version Fallout 3 Xbox 360 disc game. But I don't understand Japanese at all. I want to play it on Xbox One console as Fallout 3 is on the compatibility list. Is there any way to change the language to English? Thanks in

    Can't use Gears of war 1 code because it told me to change my language region.

    I tried to use my Gears of war 1 code to get backwards compatibility but it asks me to change my language region, but when I used the code for Gears of war 2, it worked and didn't tell me to change my language region. Plz help

    hey, is there a possibility to download an old Xbox 360 game (with backward compatibility) via disc in another language? I own Blue Dragon as PAL but want to download the NTSC-J. Maybe by changing the system language and region? I did not try it yet because
    I don't want to redownload the whole game unnecessarily. Thanks!

    It's most likely downloading the game from the region you're located in. Where are you physically located right now?

    I would see if there is someway to change the language settings on that game. If there isn't you can try to call Xbox customer service and see if they can exchange that game or get you a refund.

    Yes, a backwards compatible game installed via disc may have different language options than that found on the disc copy of the game. Despite the language of the disc, the language options available are determined according to your region as well as the
    languages the game supports (this will vary from game to game.).
