    Change account in which the console was registered to receive preview updates


    Hello, the account of a friend of mine received an invitation to the beta updates the Xbox one, and he did not have the console, then he gave me the account so I could receive the updates.

    Now that my friend bought an Xbox one and my main account has been invited to the beta program updates.

    But whenever I try to access Xbox deashboard preview app, I get the warning that my console is registered to another account.

    Is there any way to unregister my console that is on my friend's account, and register in my?

    yes im 100% sure i have the tab on my dashboard in account settings it says this console is registered to receive preview updates ???

    Xbox One Snap: Strange symbols

    I bought a preowned console recently which has this problem in Snap exactly as described above and some other places too.

    As far as I'm aware, I'm not registered for update preview, and can't access the preview forums (which suggests to me I'm not registered for the programme).

    How can I tell if my console is subscribed to update preview?

    Sorry to hear it. First off, I wanted to mention that sharing of gamertags is against the ToU and CoC of the Live service and could result in the gamertag and/or consoles involved being banned from Live.

    With that being said, I've sent a pm off to UrbanizedTree on your behalf. He should be able to assist with this.

    Sorry to hear it. First off, I wanted to mention that sharing of gamertags is against the ToU and CoC of the Live service and could result in the gamertag and/or consoles involved being banned from Live.
