Challenging Punitive Account Action

My account ((())) was reported for sending an offensive message. Which I did, totally. I can no longer send messages and nowhere on my account or the message I received which informs me of this ban does it clearly state how long the ban is for.
This is unacceptable.

Also, you used to be able to challenge actions like this, which I would like to do on the grounds that the player I sent the message to was unfairly voting to kick players from a GTA: Online server, using a gang of friends to follow those players around and
kick them from servers that they can no longer rejoin. Therefore this player deserved to be told what I will quote verbatim for the purposes of fair and equitable trial; I in no way mean any offence to anyone by repeating this: "Go **** yourself, ****."

I would argue that if you are playing Grand Theft Auto, which by nature an R18+ game and has far more offensive words in it's dialogue than one meaning to copulate, and one that draws a comparison to a part of the human anatomy used for waste disposal, then
it is naive to think that engaging in such antisocial behaviour would not result in a firmly-worded refute to aforementioned behaviour. Therefore I would like to state my intense disappointment that an automated system has failed to take these extenuating
circumstances into account, and that Microsoft no longer allows us to challenge these decisions in an easy manner. I would therefore like to postulate that my actions were in fact a helpful criticism of the player's actions that will encourage him or her to
be a more productive and positive member of this online gaming community in the future. I am sure that you can clearly see now that my message was in fact in a selfless and brave service to the community.

It is also a frankly disgusting example of customer service that the only way I can reach support with these clearly completely valid concerns is to post through the forums.

I would appreciate an explanation as soon as possible as to how long my ban is and whether or not, given the clear justification I have provided, my ban will be justly and swiftly lifted.

Ice is right on here. Calling Microsoft Support will be of no assistance to you, as they have no jurisdiction over punitive action. Use the tools provided to you via the console and also the game (if said option exists).
