    I have all my ports forwarded, and my NAT is open… if I remote play within my network it’s fine, but when I go to play on cellular it disconnects every 5 seconds and says “we’ve lost connection to the server, retrying.” It’ll reconnect automatically but it disconnects again. Continuous cycle. I’m using the modem/router that came with my att fiber, BGW320-505. I’ve also tried putting the modem into bridge mode and using my own router, still have the same issues.

    Here’s a video to what it’s doing. I’ve restarted my phone, restarted the console, and restarted the modem/router.

    Any ideas?

    following this, I’ve been having the same issue lately; months ago i could remote play over cellular with no issue, now i get the same message but with this error code. However remote play works just fine when i’m connected to wi-fi, and not just my home wi-fi.

    I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps but nothing seems to work.

    I have Verizon wireless for cellular, iphone 14 pro max running ios 16.1.2, the xbox app is up to date and my xbox is a wired connection with 40Mbps upstream.

    I am having the exact same problem. My iPhone running IOS 16 works great when using remote play from my Xbox series S (on the same Wi-Fi). However, if I am trying to use cellular 5G, it doesn’t work. I have tried everything and I can guarantee that this is an issue with the Xbox app or with IOS. If you are using iOS 15, you won’t have any issues using Xbox remote play over cellular. I have tested and can confirm that if you try and initiate an Xbox remote play session over cellular, it will send a signal that turns on your Xbox (I am sitting in front of my monitor), but on your phone’s screen, you will get an error message that says “We found your console but can't connect. Try from a different Wi-Fi or cellular network.”

    Please fix this Microsoft.

    Please also note that I work in the industry as a technology support specialist. I am part of the IT service desk that supports over 237,000 users. So, I have tried everything and unfortunately, this needs to be fixed on Microsoft’s end.

    Please also note that PlayStation remote play works flawlessly over cellular on IOS 16.

    Please also note that I have the latest version of IOS 16.1.1 and I also have the latest version of the Xbox app 2022.11.2

    I have this same exact issue. Cloud gaming works great over my 5G connection, but once I started with iOS 16, I can no longer remote play with my super fast cellular connection. I mean, heck, my cellular connect is faster than my WiFi.

    I don't know who is to blame here, Apple or MS. But one thing is for sure, it's not working as it should.

    You should contact your service provider about this problem, if it’s not working, they may be blocking Xbox live services, specifically streaming on cellular due to the large amounts of bandwidth. They may also throttle you passed a certain level of data usage which might put you under the requirements of streaming

    Try first to do this in your router:

    Call your internet service provider, and ask them to open the ports described below on your router.

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

    Also ask to disable and then, enable it again the UPnP function and if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

    Besides, ask them to put their console's IP in the DMZ zone configuration.

    (To find the Xbox One IP address, press the Xbox button to open the dashboard, go to System > Settings > General > Network settings, then select Advanced settings.)
