CDN Error - Resource not found

I had been using XBox Fitness for months without problem - no crashes, hangs or any bad behaviour other than the occasional hiccup where Kinect briefly can't see me. Recently however, I got my fiance hooked on the app, and after setting her up with an account
and adding her as a friend I immediately started getting "CDN Error - Resource not found" whenever I tried to start XBox Fitness. I could hit 'Retry' which did nothing, or exit XBox Fitness.

I found a single comment on an unrelated forum that suggested this was to do with one of my 'Friends' so I tried unfriending her and the problem immediately went away. For the moment I can work around this by just keeping her unfriended, but does anyone
out there have a proper solution for this problem, one that would allow me to have her as a Friend and still use XBox Fitness? Is anybody else having this problem?

Twitter support are useless as are the call centre / online support. THIS IS A BUG AND NEEDS TO BE FIXED NOW!!!! SO PEEVED OFF!!!

 

X box fitness

Same error here, "Resource not found. CDN error." when trying to launch Xbox Fitness. It had worked fine for me for about 3 weeks (sometimes it was really slow to load). It last worked on Saturday May 16, 2015, then yesterday morning, Monday May 19, 2015,
I started getting the CDN error and it has been the same since.

Can some one from support at least respond with what CDN stands for?

I'm not sure if I'll embark on the delete, reset, and reinstall route. It seems more likely to not work than work.

Please help us, Xbox support team!

 

Do you have a Twitter account? Hit up @XboxSupport and mention @XboxFitness. Sounds like a very specific thing they should be able to fix. Their twitter accounts are pretty active, I have yet to see any official reply here.

Same issue the best thing is to look for other friends that have xbox fitness and delete them. It would seem that the CDN issue comes from the friends app. For instance my wife started fitness and then I got the CDN issue tonight. I deleted her and I didn't
get the error, as soon as I added her back I got the error again.

I reported to support so hopefully they fix but in the meantime you might want to look for new friends to you and friends that have recently started fitness. As a note it doesn't matter that they follow you, only that they are your friend.

 

FYI, this issue is now resolved for me. The problem occurred for me soon after I created a new XBox profile for my fiance. I noticed that her GamerPic was always empty when we were using SmartGlass and while she was in XBox Fitness. I went into her XBox
profile and updated her GamerPic and this fixed the problem (the CDN error went away and we could both see her GamerPic in SmartGlass and XBox Fitness).

Based on this information, I'm assuming that it's possible to get an XBox account into a state where it hasn't fully synchronized with XBox.com. I doubt the problem relates specifically to the GamerPic, but rather, updating the GamerPic forces some kind
of account synchronization that indirectly fixes the problem.

Rather than purging friends one by one, maybe see if any of them are missing GamerPics or profile content in SmartGlass, and ask that they change something in their profile to force an update.

 

if there are some friend in your list is abnormal such like their avatar can be seen, delete them and add again

this problem will be resolved

 

Does anybody knows when Xbox team will fix Xbox glitch issue?

I noted the error 17th may when i purchased 10 minyte cardio and I couldn't be able to use it. It's si frustrating

 

I am experiencing the same error "Resource not found" "CDN Error", Microsoft need to start taking their customers seriously. Stop ignoring this issue Microsoft and fix it. Having to delete friends, update profiles or re-sync profiles is a lame and unsatisfactory
response. There is a problem and you need to fix it!

Stephen: Hi Bethel, my name is Stephen. Yes that is correct. I can't remember the last time I ever got this game to work. I would guess and say dec 2014'

Bethel: Oh that is too long.

Bethel: And you just played it again since dec.2014 today?

Stephen: So I tried playing it last week and was getting a CDN error then the game would crash and take me back to the Xbox home screen. I searched the support forums and found that others were experiencing the same or similar issues. I tried Uninstalling the
game powering of the console by holding the X button for 10 seconds, unplugging it for 5 minutes, then powering on and reinstalling. No avail

Stephen: The wierd thing is sometime this week the CDN Error disappeared and now it just hangs on the Fitness splash screen

Stephen: The reason I haven't touched this game since Dec is because I gave up on it. Then it occurred to me that there have been a number of system updates since then and so I tried again

Stephen: Yes, I also have my console set to automatically install updates

Stephen: which was the same message that I was getting last week and early this week.

Bethel: What I mean is that this is already a know issue, and our software engineeers are working out on this right now to get this issue fix.

Bethel: What I can advise right now is wait for the system update to fix this concern.

Stephen: oh, ok. I guess that is reassuring in a way as at least I know its not a problem with my console. Can you provide me with a URL which explains this as a known issue?

Bethel: in as much as I wanted to share this but its also company consumption. We do have forums as well that will testify that you are not alone with this.

Bethel: What I can suggest is you also share your experience in the forum and at the same time with friends, encourage them to write something in forums, because this will give idea to the software engineers how many and what are you experiencing with the app

I haven't been able to use Xbox Fitness for WEEKS now due to this CDN error... Will this ever get fixed? I paid £45 for the P90X videos but haven't been able to use them for a long time!

 

I just installed Xbox Fitness and I cannot start it, I'm also getting this "CDN Error - Resource not found" message.

 

If I type in
support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status I get redirected to
support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status (as I live in Sweden), but that page doesn't mention Fitness at all. If I manually change the address to
support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status, it says "Limited" on Xbox Fitness. Is this the reason for my problem?

 

Xbox Fitness is now listed as 'up and running' on
support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status again. There was an update to the game which rolled out in the last few days.

Does anyone who had the CDN/startup issues still have them after installing this recent update?

Unfortunately, even if the CDN/startup issues are fixed, they seem to have introduced a new problem: New Lag/Freezes Since XBox Fitness Update
