cd/blu-ray apps not allowing games to load on xbox one

weird problem, and I haven't seen it posted anywhere on the net, but my cd app was trying to read my games as music, and wouldn't let me play my games (it kept wanting me to go to the xbox store because it couldn't find my license for the cd). The solution
was to uninstall the app, and then reinstall. Since I got both the blu-ray app and the cd app at the same time, I'm not sure if the blu-ray would have done the same thing; I included that app just to be sure. I was told by support that the problem could potentially
rise again, but the rep thought power-cycling the system would correct the problem. If not, just uninstall and reinstall.

    :)

    No Disk

    Hi everyone.

Not trying to be smart or anything, but did you install both the Audio CD and the Blu-Ray player apps??

I ask because I have had several people ask me why an audio CD won't play or a Blu-Ray movie, but had neglected to install them..

  3. Xbox One won't load or play several of my Blu-ray discs

Some blu-ray discs work, but others do not. The following discs throw an error on load:

    • The crown and the dragon
    • Space Battleship Yamato (the live action one from 2010)
    • Osombie
    • Space Battleship Yamato Resurrection (the animated one from 2009)
    The error is:

    • "We're having trouble reading this. Make sure it's a Blu-ray or DVD. If it's a game, launch if from your games & apps instead (0x91d70000)"
The error comes up after a couple seconds of spinning. These blu-ray discs all work in my Samsung blu-ray player. Other blu-ray discs work in my Xbox one, so this appears to be a software issue.

    Suggestions?
