    can anyone help or has anyone experienced this problem,I am unable to play audio cd's. when I go into the app it states there is no cd in the drive. I have tried with numerous cds (all original) and have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

    Same. This is garbage. Shouldnt need an app to play an audio cd.

    The idea that the Xbox One is an entertainment system is one of the best advertisement LIES I've ever bought. What a stupid product to buy if you are an occasional gamer hoping to use the system to watch TV, movies, and listen to music.

    Yeah i have the same prob the Audio Cd Player App in unavailable for the Xbox 1. I was on and off tech support all day and they said it was a maintenance issue. They said to wait 24 to 48 hours until the system is worked on. It will be available soon.
    They are working on it. Right you should not need apps to play cd's or watch movies....... crazy. Some of the techs did not even know they had an Audio Cd Player App. ???
