Probably a daft question but are you definitely connected to Xbox LIVE when playing?

Other than what's already been suggested in this thread then why not just request a call from Xbox Support. Best course of action in my opinion if all else has failed.

    Good luck.

    I'd suggest posting here then
    forums.xbox.com/.../4270.aspx

An official support staff member will come along & they can check if you have indeed unlocked those achievements & see what the problem is & should be able to unlock them for you.

What games are you having issues with?

I have had a few achievements that took a couple of days to unlock/show on my Gamerscore.

You said you've tried resetting, uninstalling etc. Have you tried deleting your Gamertag and recovering it? I know this has helped others in the past unlocking certain achievements. If you do this just make sure you have your passwords, emails associated
    with your account at hand.

Could be worth checking the link below. Good site for achievement help, reporting glitched achievements etc.

I had a Destiny achievement randomly pop a day or two ago that I was sure i'd completed months ago.

Maybe I should sell up and buy a Playstation too...............(Sarcasm)

Defense Grid 2 isnt giving my acheivements. I beat the campaign months ago, with all gold medals too and nothing. Not jumping ship though. Still puzzling.
