CATASTROPHE: xbox one achievements refuse to unlock

hopefully someone can lend a hand. I have tried unlocking achievements in several games since this issue began and checked almost every forum and answer on the internet yet to no avail.

so heres the issue, I play games doing all the tasks needed for an achievement but it does not unlock or recognise that ive done anything, this happens on any game i play! ive tried everything from restarting;resetting to uninstalling. all of this while
xbox live was online too.

maybe i should sell my xbox one and buy a new one? but what if the next user also cant unlock achievements? HALP!

And yet again, glitchy achievements which refuse to unlock. *** Telltale!

 

Windows 10 Achievements not unlocking.

I have multiple games on my PC that have xbox live achievements but none of these games give me any achievements. Fallout Shelter, Minecraft, Resident Evil 7, none of these games achievements unlock for me. And it can be for simple things, like punching
a tree in minecraft, no achievements unlock and i don't know what to do about it. I have the most recent updates for the games and windows 10 but they still refuse to unlock.

Have you got notifications turned off if Az can see your cheevos?

 

Go into settings then Preferences and make sure Show notifications is on

I thought your Xbox burned your house down and killed your dog. The titlee to this thread is a bit overreactive.

 

notifications don't really matter..the possible achievements aren't being recognised, not even progress of them in the achievements app. should I switch to playstation :O

 

Oh, no! Achievements aren't unlocking! You're right. It IS a catastrophe. Alert the church elders and have them ring the bell! The end of the world is nigh.

Troll alert! He just mentioned he should switch to playstation. Back to the original point though the new achievememt system is on a server and sometimes dont post immediately.

 

Defense Grid 2 isnt giving my acheivements. I beat the campaign months ago, with all gold medals too and nothing. Not jumping ship though. Still puzzling.

 

What games are you having issues with?

I have had a few achievements that took a couple of days to unlock/show on my Gamerscore.

You said you've tried resetting, uninstalling etc. Have you tried deleting your Gamertag and recovering it? I know this has helped others in the past unlocking certain achievements. If you do this just make sure you have your passwords, emails associated
with your account at hand.

I had a Destiny achievement randomly pop a day or two ago that I was sure i'd completed months ago.

Maybe I should sell up and buy a Playstation too...............(Sarcasm)

 

Day 46: no games are unlocking achievements, old or new. deleted my gamertag, recovered it. nothing. food is running low.
