Casual players? (One)

I'm a pretty average player who,s never played Xbox until a few months ago (my last console was the GCN, back when Nintendo actually had a really slight chance). The problem with that is new games are party different, and I'm after casual, chill people
who aren't miles ahead of me or so serious that I feel like my presence is just letting them down. I especially don't get much more than a few hours for a couple of days a week thanks to Uni, so getting better is going to be a slow process. I'd love to get
better since it's pretty much the only way to have fun in multiplayer now, especially with fpses, which have ALWAYS been my thing (but I want to branch out). But playing/practicing by myself is actually pretty boring, since I haven't even had a chance to use
my mic, and there are games like Evolve and Rainbow Six and Destiny which seem like they'll be near impossible to play with that Twitchshooter every-man-for-himself attitude. I'm 22 so if you want to be my age or older to make me feel less like an overgrown
child that's fine by me xD

Will traditional gaming die out?

Sony is appealing to the casuals too, Move, PSN All Stars, and the new book thing are all heavily casual orientated. I wouldn't say one was more/less casual this year at E3.

It is not "noob friendly".I say this because even the noob will learn a game and eventually become a non-noob.This game,and most games hereafter,are geared twards the new noob,which is the 'casual" player.The difference in my opion is the casual will always
remain a casual player,and the casual player are the ones that will ruin things to come,there are alot of them and their pockets are deep.

That is odd. You would think it would be one or the other. I know on my console, casual is greyed out and is not an option. I wonder if you're playing in a party, if you would have the option to play either, if one or more of the players are allowed to play
casual? That could be the reason for having good players in casual I guess. Im not sure on how to "graduate" from casual to standard tho. You would think, regardless of skill, that after so many hours of gametime it would automatically put you into standard
and not allow casual as an option...
