    Castle of Illusion Xbox Marketplace issue


    Hello,

    I'm having a problem purchasing the game Castle of Illusion for my Xbox One. I noticed that it can't be purchased directly from the Microsoft Store, which I know is common for backwards compatible software, but when I went to download the game from Xbox.com
    the
    marketplace link     now shows an error page. I know the game was up on the website at one point, so I'm wondering what happened to it. Unfortunately I do not have a 360, otherwise this would be a pretty fix. I really want to buy this game, but not enough to
    buy a 360 along with it, ya know? If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated!

    The frustrating part of this was that Castle of Illusion could be purchased through the Xbox.com marketplace as recently as September 2019, so I'm not sure when or why the page was removed. Appreciate the help still, thanks!
    It's possible that the licensor made changes and xbox is simply not allowed to sell it on the store anymore.

    Go to the link you provided and then click on "Check that you are using the website for
    your country or region    " and select your region. This should get you to the Market Place. I looked through all the games and didn't see Castle of Illusion there, but it might be there for you. Also, are you not able to just buy it on your Xbox One as a

    Some Xbox 360 games aren't able to be purchased on Xbox One. This is one of them.
