Castle Crashers Remastered not available as free download on Xbox One

Hello

I'm still waiting for access to a free copy Castle Crashers Remastered on Xbox One.

I bought Castle Crashers within the time the promotion stated to get free access the Remastered version.

But so far Castle Crashers Remastered has only appeared with a option to buy.

I have gone through the required trouble shooting steps with Xbox support, and they asked me to report the issue here.

I've also noticed that on xbox.com the original is showing as £9.99 for me even though I have already purchased it in the past?

Tried deleting it on my 360 and re downloading it (which it did fine) but on the website it's still showing as £9.99? I'm guessing this is what is effecting the remastered versions price?

 

I have been having the same issue (I believe).

I am currently using a shared Xbox Gold membership from my roomate's Xbox live account. My main gamertag is the owner of the Xbox 360 version of Castle Crashers, and it is not a gold account.

After chatting with live-chat support for a couple hours, we have come to this conclusion. The Behemoth is the game publisher, and they decide who can download their game, for what price, and subscription requirements. They have specifically chosen to
only allow members who have both: 1. purchased Castle Crashers for Xbox 360 and, 2. have an active Xbox Live Gold membership - to purchase their game at the "FREE" price.

Another thing that should be noted is that a large amount of users are having difficulties getting their "FREE" discount, even when they meet all of the requirements.

One of Xbox Support Chat's Managers stated the following to me: "You can let him know that Behemoth's looking into this and have him try for a couple of hours or much better for at least 24 hours."

Lastly, I have left a support ticket with the Behemoth about the issue that I'm having, and have seen posts on their website from users regarding your issues.

So, there you have it folks. We'll have to sit back and wait on a response from the Behemoth.

There twitter said they are waiting on the £0 price to go up

 

They are aware of this issue and are waiting on updates. DastardlyVince posted their twitter which reads "Hi all! Castle Crashers Remastered is currently releasing in various countries. We're still waiting on the $0 to go up for CC X360 owners!"

Issue may be resolved soon.

When will the game be available in Germany? It's still not there in the marketplace, even two days after the official release date. I wonder if it's going to arrive in time to take advantage from the special upgrade offer till Sep 20th...

 

I'm also having the same problem. I have the game on my 360 but i played it with another account however this account got hacked. I started this new one a while back and saw I couldn't download it for free. So i went to the 360 and played it until i got
on achievement on this new profile too show that i do have this game on my 360. However when i went back it still said I had to pay $15.

The account you are currently using had to have purchased the original game to be eligible for this upgrade offer. Playing the game on an account that hasn't purchased the game does not activate this offer.

This is really something strange - the German USK, as published on their website, has rated CCR on August 3rd already for Xbox One!!! So why is it STILL not there in marketplace Germany? And the developer of the game is also not answering ANY question about
the release date in Germany... What's going on there?

 

I'm having this problem...I own the game on the 360 but on both the Xbox one and smartglass app Castle Crashers Remastered shows up for $14.99.

I turned on my 360 this morning and started up castle crashers. I also uploaded my save file while I was there. I switched back to my One after and CCR still shows as $14.99. I called customer support and the best they could tell me was to key an eye on
these forums.

Any help would be very appreciated!
