Castle Crasher for Xbox One

Major Nelson posted that Castle Crashers is supposed to be free to people who bought it on Xbox 360 today and its trying to charge me for it. a little help here?

After talking to a gentleman named Raphael I was directed to make a post on here for reference. As well as including the following links.

If you don't have Castle Crashers, pick it up on 360. I believe you still get the Xbox One version for free if you do.

Well first asdasdassa yes its freee and today is the last day its free however you need to have an active gold membership to claim it

My gold does not expire until 3/2016 and I have had the same Gamertag since the 360 launched.

 

Just checking the updates here, they said that this should be working right away.

 

Yea no nothing worked. It is now trying to charge me 14.99. Which would still have been incorrect as I would at least be a legacy purchaser and it should be discounted. Soooo whats the plan for this? My girlfriend and I would really like to play this again.

Sorry to hear about the issue! Unfortunately the promotion for Castle Crashers for free is no longer available. You still should be able to see Castle Crashers at the discount price though. Just to make sure that we have covered everything, I recommend trying
a few steps:

• First, verify that Castle Crashers was originally purchased on your account by viewing your purchase history on commerce.microsoft.com.
  
• Once you have verified that Castle Crashers was purchased on your account, launch and play Castle Crashers on your Xbox 360 console.
  
• Wait 48-72 hours and then try purchasing Castle Crashers on your Xbox One console to see if you are able to see the discounted price.
