Cast Mubi on my Xbox ? Or any Browser that works?

I mean the alternatives to services like sky and last.fm etc Obviously Xbox uk is missing out on alot that the ps3 have such as lovefilm, 4od, ITV, iplayer, vidzone, MUBI etc, they a lot more services compared to xbox.

I am not ready to upgrade to windows 11. Cast has always worked on windows 10 and now after an update to the Xbox Console (to replace groove music with Windows Media Player) cast no longer works. Note, this isn't isolated to my windows 10 devices. No UPnP devices (Android, IOS, etc) are able to cast to the Xbox One console.

They are referring to the Local Cast app for Android. I am also having this problem not only woth local cast but any app that has the casting ability. Netflix, youtube, etc... are no longer seeing the xbox one on the cast to device list like it used to.
Was there an update that removed this feature of casting directly to the xbox??

yes, this function ceased to work since the creators update. This has nothing do with insiders. it was function of windows 10 / edge. The option is present in edge to "cast media to device" and I would use to send video (via the browser) from PC's to the
xbox360.

since the creator's update, as stated the PC's do NOT find the xbox360 so that you can cast the media to it...

this is really annoying cause the feature (although wasn't the best working) was extremely useful!

Im not 100% sure if you can connect chrome cast to the xbox and use it like that.

However if youre trying to cast a video or movie to the Xbox I do believe you can do so through the wireless display app on Xbox. You may need to search it through the store.
