Why in heaven's name did you do only a account recovery?

You are supposed to file an unauthorized access claim first with xbox support so they can lock your account while they proccess it

And you can't contact support for account recovery they are a seperate team complwtely which is the Microsoft accounts team

It shpuld be noted when they give you turn around times you have to take into consideration that a it's recently the holidays

B the current world crisis

Has everyone shortstaffed there will always be delays

You are going to have to wait

Since you are with account recovery you gotta wait

Xbox support cannot expedite it due to it being a different team completelu

This avoids security issues

Passwords are a automated server so at no point that anyone knows your password

That really depends on how many cases they are catering. Just make sure to send them another email today and let them know that you want to get an update. Usually, account recovery cases are catered within 2-3 days but given that they have more cases to cater, there will be delays most of the time.

Thank you, in this case try uninstalling the most recent windows update, just in case it is the one causing conflicts (once you uninstall an update, test the game. If the issue persist repeat)
