Case large enough to carry everything including 22 inch monitor?

This might be a strange request... I'm joining the military, and my husband and I decided to use xbox ones (instead of getting a laptop and webcam) for communication. I am looking for a case (suitcase, hard box, etc.) that is large enough to hold an xbox
one, kinect, 2 controllers, a couple games, and a 22 inch monitor. I would prefer for the case to be airline carry on. Which is where I'm having issues. The monitor dimensions without a stand are : 20.8 x 14.3 x 2.5 If I can do a carry on, it can fit tighter.
I'd still like space to put padding, though.

    Thoughts, ideas?

    :)

If I remember. Yours was large. Not annoyingly large, but large enough where I would remove it.

    :/

It was about an inch, Inch in a half in height and was long in length but was just the basic size for a signature though. But ok... Case large enough to carry everything including 22 inch monitor? o_O

It was smaller than most the peoples on here where you have to scroll down to get past it lol.

Pelican case? Expensive but defo worth the money. Used to transport my Airsoft stuff in it no problem and a friend of mine has his old 360 setup in one for when he travels

The Pelican 1560, 1560 LFC, or 1560SC, might be a good choice. A little deeper than you asked for, but extra padding couldn't hurt.

    Peace, J.R.

Edit: You need 20.8" and the choices I gave were 20.37"x15.43"x9". The only logical thing to do in this case is trim a half inch off your monitor.

Or go with a 20" monitor instead.

LOL. I am looking at smaller monitors right now. Though, I like the idea about trimming it down Case large enough to carry everything including 22 inch monitor? ;) .

    What about one of these?
    www.amazon.com/.../B00BEPFDM0
It says it's tsa friendly, but the dimensions for tsa state 22 x 14 x 9 and this is 19.75 x 16.75 x 7 Anyhow, anyone used one of these? Either this one or the 15.5 inch screen one. If anyone has used one, or gotten an up
close look at one. How does it work? Does the console stay in there while running, and wouldn't it get too warm? Is there like a little power strip in there so you only have one cord to the wall?

^It states it's for the PS3/360/PS4, don't know if you'll be able to get the Kinect for Skype and power brick in there. I believe the TSA specs are the max.

There is an X1 version but it look the same with no room for kinect. Also, not sure what resolution the screen is, may only be 720p if that matters to you.

Tried to post the link but my phone is playing me up.

The 720p doesn't really bother me. From what I've been finding, it seems that for tvs under 20 inch, the 1080 vs 720 doesn't seem to make enough of a difference.

I might just attempt a diy case like the Vanguard. I couldn't get them to answer me on if the monitor was easily replaceable or not. This way I can replace the monitor easily should it break or something. If someone sees something...

If someone comes across this looking to diy something like Vanguard. Look up "mobile gaming case" There's a few diy videos out there.

I am going for a diy. I plan on using either a mcm 22-24130, a pelican storm IM2500, or a pelican 1510 for a case. All three are carry on sized. I'll post again when I figure out how to make it all work.

Case large enough to carry everything including 22 inch monitor?

LOL, so I kept looking at the ext dimensions, none of those will work with a plugged in xbox one. I am instead looking at MCM (22-24120) or MCM (22-25845) Which won't be carry on, so I'll have to check it. Which means I'll have to do a better job of making
sure everything is packed in there tight.

I definitely will. It might take me a while since I'm leaving here in a week and I'm not sure how much time I'll have after. I settled on, and ordered, the 24120 since it's deeper. The tv will be a 19 inch
www.sceptre.com/gallery-150.html I plan on attaching with industrial strength velcro (It's a little over 5 lbs.) A close second was
www.sceptre.com/gallery-221.html which is a 20 inch computer monitor, but the neck doesn't come off, and the back of it wasn't as nice and flat as the first. I didn't really want to go poking
holes in a nice waterproof case to get it attached. Neither are 1080p, but both are 720p, which is still HD.

The current plan is to have all the cords under the xbox one. I plan on raising it up on a shelf made of 1/2 inch plywood with holes cut for cords to come out. I'm planning on putting a small surge protector underneath with a 9 foot, flat plug, orange
extension cord for visibility. I plan to have 1.5 inch clearance underneath, with a hole cut to fit the power brick, and notches to fit the surge protector. All of this in case the 8 inches of depth I have to work with includes what is in the lid. If it
doesn't, and the lid adds depth, then I would leave 2 inches of space underneath. Xbox will be strapped in tight with 36 inch heavy duty velcro straps. Here's the surge protector I ended up choosing. www.amazon.com/.../ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl

Just for info from measuring everything I have and looking up the rest. In inches.

    TV:

    17.32 x 10.33 x 1.77 per company website

    .

XBOX one (with cords out the back curved down comfortably) :

    13 x 13 x 3.25

    .

Kinect (with cords out the back) :

    9.75 x 4 x 2 5/8

    .

Power brick (with cords curved comfortably) :

    11 x 3 x 2

    .

    Surge Protector :

    4.8 x 1.9 x 1.8 per company website

    .

Some foam padding I had laying around :

    3/8

    .

If I can get the scanner to work, I'll include what I have drawn out before I go. Please double check if you plan on using any of this info.
