Carnt update controller

Before doing anything below...please perform a hard reset. Hold the xbox logo on the front of the console until the system shuts down. Wait 10 secs, and then turn the console back on using the controller..

try this...

-take the batteries out of your controller

-keep any adapters and headsets plugged into the controller

-plug the usb wire into the controller and console

-lay the controller down

then perform the update

(We are doing it this way because if the usb cable is used soley, we can make sure the cable isnt loosing its connection)

i have also tried that soloution the only one i carnt do is offline update as i dont have a usb stick but i have got a 2tb hardrive wich i was useing on my xbox one some reason my pc wont find it so i carnt even try to format it and try to put the update
offline on that to try

would like to knwo the bundle carnt get to shop and carnt find online

hi the codes the xbox shows was not on of the owns available the codes the xbox show are 0x8B0500B6 and 0x00000201 any ideas what te problem can be sice the soft reset I carnt get past the update before I could at least play games or dvds now I carnt to
any thing

I carnt accept chat invite when it comes up with hold the xbox button on the remote at the bottom of the screen it just turns the controller off. And when I go to the top left to accept it instead of the chat icon with the three ppl on it it's the world
symbol getting [Mod Removed] now as it's been 4 days and carnt chat
