Card info doesn't match

    why microsoft is not accepting any of the card which i put several of times i've done many of the payments with the same cards no its saying info doesn't match WTH is this? Please solve it out as soon as possible i can't miss my car please help me

    Hi there!

    Sorry to hear about the issue. Let's see what we can do about this matter here.

    First, make sure that you don't have any past due balances or suspended subscription on your account by checking it on https://account.microsoft.com/services.

    Also, make sure to update your billing info correctly on https://account.microsoft.com > Payment & billing > Address book.

    Don't forget to check your account region if it's set to your correct region by going to https://account.microsoft.com > Your info.

    Your card must be issued in the same country where your account region is currently set to.

    To further isolate the issue, you may as well try to add your cards to a different account if it accepts or not. So we can identify if it's an account issue or card issue.

    Since Latvia is not supported by Live, your account region is most likely set for a different region. Since the credit card wouldn't match that region, that could be a possible reason.

    Try to add the card through account.microsoft.com under payment & billing or vise versa if you're using the website, use the console. If you're still getting the error, please contact your financial institution to ask if your card has online purchases
    restrictions. If so, remove them and re-add the card after doing a power cycle (restarting it from the settings under power & start up) with the console.

    Yes Sir, I have been trying every possible method for the past 2 weeks, including the browser on PC, the browser on Phone, Xbox app on PC, and Windows Store.

    And That is the issue I am facing, I cannot add my cards as payment methods, including the card I've used to make purchases before.

    Make sure that your card is activated. That was the reason I got that the mesage.
