Card disappearing when i want to buy something?

You can pay the difference with a different payment method, if you have rewards points you can check if it's possible to convert those points into account balance, but you can't pay directly with the points

On MS Store you can use Credit Cards and Cash Gift Cards.

Sometimes i use a 50,- EUR Card, when i buy something i can choose if i want to pay with this (you must first redeem the code) or want to use my CC.

We recommend going and checking privacy settings. Make sure that something wasn't changed. If you haven't had a passkey set up it is possible someone changed the privacy settings. Also, watch how they purchase an item, if they are hitting change then selecting
use a code this will prompt you to purchase currency instead of using the card.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Is the payment instrument still on the account? If it has been removed then you would not get option to use the card. You can log on to
account website and check payment options. If it has been removed, you can add the card back on the account.

I understand your frustration regarding this issue. However, i personally think its a good way of keeping control over your children's spending. I've seen a few posts when the child has racked up a large amount of money on the parents bank account.
