Thank you for your assistance, it seems that the issue here is that when trying to buy the PC Game Pass the only options that show up are Paypal and Debit/Credit Card, no option says "use Microsoft balance", will by selecting Paypal option the charge come from the balance instead of PayPal?

They don't charge immediately so if you change your mind before it's released it's easier for you to cancel the order instead of having to request a refund that could be denied or take forever to get returned to your card. They do charge immediately if you pay with your Microsoft account balance though.
