    Capturing game clips


    I thought I had this resolved but apparently not. When playing warzone, i try to record clips of anything that i think is pretty cool. When I say, “xbox record that” it will, but it will only be for :04. When I hit the xbox button and press “X” its doing
    the same thing, only recording :04. The settingS are set to record 45 seconds.

    Any and all help would be appreciated!

    Use webcam on game capture?

    Hey there jmonk,

    Thank you for reaching out to us on the Forums. When you capture game clips on your Xbox One it starts to record automatically on screen. There would be no way to utilize a webcam to capture game clips.

    Hi TriedBasket635,

    By default, the video clips that you captured are saved to the Captures folder which is located in the Videos folder. Regarding your concern, it is possible that the video clips weren't captured successfully that's why it doesn't show up on the Captures
    folder. Can you tell us if you're getting the same issue if you record another game clips on your game? Also, is your Windows 10 updated?

    Screenshots and clips are initially stored on the console HDD and are uploaded manually to OneDrive from the
    Manage captures section of your profile or from the Community page.

    It's not automatic like uploading shots and clips to XBLive if you have that setting enabled. Check
    System>Settings>Preferences >Capture and share.

    Capture game clips and screenshots may assist you.
