    Capturing game chat on recorded clips for Xbox One.


    I was able to record audio chat on recorded game clips when i had a 3.5mm mic plugged into my controller.

    Ever since i started using Astro A50 xbox headsets I can no longer record game chat.

    I have verified the settings to ensure audio chat is recording with the game clip however that did not work.

    I have also selected game chat through headset and Tv in the hopes that would capture Game chat but to no avail.

    Please advise how i can record game chat on recorded clips using my Astro A50 headsets.

    I'll clarify...

    Im trying to capture in game voice chat when I record a clip on call od duty warzone. Im Im not in party chat and understand that game captures do not capture party chat.

    In-game voice chat is not captured on the Xbox DVR game clips - unless the game has a built in chat system that could make it record but it usually won't.

    Thank you for reaching out to us on the Forums. When you capture game clips on your Xbox One it starts to record automatically on screen. There would be no way to utilize a webcam to capture game clips.

    Hi!
    Maybe we didn't understand well, through the Xbox clips it never captures the party audio.
    Maybe you intend to record a clip with the game audio including your teammates' voice chat (no Xbox party)?

    Game chat audio not included in recordings

    Xbox clips don't record voice/game chat currently. You can record the voice on a different device and then add it to your gameplay, or stream the content trough twitch. You can also use a capture card.

    But if you don't have any equipment, only the Xbox recording feature will not record the game chat/party voice.
