    Captures Won’t Share


    I’m on a series X and neither the console nor the app will let me share captures. It’s says to adjust my privacy settings but I have no restrictions in place. I’ve also changed all settings to everyone and allow and also did a hard reset on the console and removed and added back my profile. I’m at my wits end with it so any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

    Thanks Vinicius! I was going insane wondering what I wasn’t doing correctly lol I have a tendency to take a problem and try and work it for days on end to find a solution haha you have given me some peace on it.

    Some issues with privacy settings are happening for a few days now. :/ I do believe the issue you're facing is part of that instability as well. :/

    I do recommend you try to wait for a few days before trying to share again my friend. :/ I'm so sorry about this inconvenience.

    A similar issue is happening to me regarding Cross-multiplayer in the privacy settings. :/

    Yes the USB drive is brand new and works on the computer. Tried all prior fixes listed above and nothing. Files work on the drive. Trying to capture gameplay on Xbox series x. Won’t recognize as an option to change the location of capture and share to the jump drive.

    Sometimes the game publisher won’t allow game sharing certain features. A DLC can sometimes be the feature that they won’t allow you to share.

    Um.. You could try going to settings, general, volume & audio output. Then change the party chat output to headphones and speakers. Then try to record a clip and see if its better.
