Captures removed

    I can understand your concern and please don't worry I am here to help you.

    Unfortunately there is no option to do that. I'm sorry I can't give you better news.

    Captures can be deleted after 90 days and after that cannot be recovered.

    I think this would be a great addition to the Xbox. It's the same with captures, we have to do one at a time. There is no select all for friends or captures to remove them.

    Netflix won't work after streaming.

    I wonder if it's detecting the capture card and is fully cutting off due to that. How about after streaming removing from capture device and back to the back of the tv?. This is screaming at me a lock due to detecting a capture device for some reason.

    Same thing here, sometimes your Xbox removes old captures if not saved on the cloud (Xbox live) any new capture will remove the old ones you had if you don't have enough space.

    Check back after a while, if the problem is still there contact Xbox support via social media.

    Why would Microsoft think it was a good idea to delete peoples captures that they've been saving?

    Thank you for reaching out to the forum. There are some limitations on screenshots and video capturing.

    • You can upload up to 10 GB of captures to Xbox Live. Once you reach those limits, the oldest captures will be removed as you save new ones (first in, first out).

    • Any game clip or screenshot uploaded to Xbox Live that gets no views in 30 days will be deleted. Viewing it yourself counts as a view, and saves a capture from deletion.

    • Captures you don't upload to Xbox Live will remain on the console they were recorded on.

    • Xbox One consoles hold up to 800 MB of screen shots and 8 GB of game clips. Once you reach those limits, the oldest captures will be removed when you save new captures (first in, first out).

    That might be the reason for your current issue.
