Captures Not Recording Correctly on XBOX One X

Basically when I try to record, the capture is screwy when I try to view it. I've tried viewing them on my phone as well through the xbox app and it plays the same way as on the console. I haven't found anything on the web (yet) with anything similar so
I'm at a loss.

To sum it up: I generally record 30 second captures and when I view them, the video always plays back faster (something like 1.25x speed at my best guess) with all 30 seconds of audio crammed into one or two seconds. It'll be silent in the beginning and
at about 5(is) seconds you'll hear all 30 seconds of audio condensed down to a second or two where it sounds like it's being heavily fast-forwarded and the remaining of the clip being silent.

I've still got quite a few captures on my account if anyone's interested enough to look me up (My Gamer-tag is Sgt XD).

Again, I haven't found anyone else with this issue while searching so I'd really appreciate some ideas, and thank you in advance for any feedback!

Well most of my clips are in forhonor so kinect and backing out to the homescreen arent the problem. And i dont think that the resolution is the issue either because it works sometimes just not all and it records 15 seconds instead of 5 minutes.

In most cases, capturing allows the creation of clips up to 5 minutes in length. At times, you may find that your clip is shorter than anticipated. There are a few reasons why this may happen:

Time spent outside the game is removed from the clip. For example, if you back out of the game to the Home screen while recording, the time on the Home screen will not make it into the clip.
Publishers may disable the recording of certain game segments for several reasons that may include, but are not limited to:
- Potential game spoilers
- Views of a player or players in the game seen through their Kinect
Capturing records clips at 720p, 30 frames per second. For most games, this resolution will allow a clip of approximately 5 minutes. Clips with significant graphic intensity or action may be shorter, as duration is sacrificed to maintain a high-quality
recording.

Thanks for the reply! I understand there is an issue with the Xbox one. I recommend checking the storage on the Xbox One.
Depending on your game clip resolution and available storage space, clips can last up to 10 minutes (capturing to internal storage) or 1 hour (capturing to external storage).

If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the console,
Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Try this out first and let us know the results.

When I record a game clip on the Xbox One X my voice is not recorded even though all my mic settings are set to on. I'm totally confounded as to why this is so, since my mic is working with other apps and game chat. Supposedly this feature is built into
the Xbox One X capture system.
