Captures/Game Clips Not Downloading to App or Profile

I keep having an issue with select game clips not being available on my Xbox App or on my profile. It's been going on for about a week and my storage isn't the problem.

Sometimes, the app won't load my last week's worth of clips and other times it will load the previews for them–but won't let me send or download or even watch them.

Has anyone had an experience with this and can help me?

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with downloading videos in a specific time range. As far as the capabilities to download captures, you may from the Xbox App or from the Xbox Console. When you create captures you are now able to
edit, trim, without download other apps to help.

The best way to keep those clips is, install the Xbox app on your laptop or pc. Then on your console go to your captures and upload them to one drive and upload them to live. Then go to the Xbox app on pc or laptop click on the captures and scroll through
what is live and download the clips to your pc or laptop in a file.

The new Xbox app does NOT have a Captures icon on the left menu panel as you stated above. The Xbox Companion app did, but that app no longer works. The Captures feature has been completely removed from the new app in favor of pushing games and apps. So how exactly are people supposed to download game clips now?
