Capture on Xbox one not working.

Regardless of what i do i can't seem to get my capture function on the xbox one s to work properly. I have tried 720p all durations and 1080p all duration. Each time it only captures a fraction of the time select toping out at 17 seconds. Ive power cycled
and even tried a system hard reset. Nothing is working. Mostly happens on COD. But seen it on a handful of other games. Please help/ let me know all my opinions.

could be that your clip storage is getting full, make sure to delete unwanted clips and screenshots

It might be best to check your system storage settings and make sure that you still have enough storage to safely store game recordings.

I would say it sounds like storage is becoming full, you may need to go in and clean up some of your old clips or transfer them to a cloud account. Here is a link to

You'll need to verify that you haven't reached your console's storage limit. And also the Live one. Because both have a limit for captures and videos.
