    Hi all,

    I have a problem with my captures in game. When pressing the home button on my controller and proceeding to press X to record what just happened in the last 30 seconds. my clips for whatever reason decide to bug out and show 4 - 15 seconds of the first 30
    seconds i wanted recorded. This means i don't record what i actually want to, then being a boring 4 second clip of nothing. I don't know what is wrong, since I've used this way of clipping highlights of my game-play all to much, so i don't know why it's suddenly
    decided to stop working normally.

    Because of this, i get really annoyed not being able to rewatch some of the clips i've made where i've had a laugh, or where i've popped off.

    PLEASE HELP ME!

    Hey there jmonk,

    Thank you for reaching out to us on the Forums. When you capture game clips on your Xbox One it starts to record automatically on screen. There would be no way to utilize a webcam to capture game clips.

    Why can't I transfer my Xbox clips? Would you guys want this feature?

    The clips arent uploaded. I turned auto upload off. Im trying to transfer clips from "on this Xbox" in the captures

    not from xbox live, or I'd just easily DL them to my phone

    I see the option go set a hard drive as a capture location.. I just don't know how to transfer previous clips to said capture location

    Xbox gaming captures fails (again) to delete my Xbox live captures

    I do own the app. Captures will not delete from there either.

    The captures also do a cycle where it shows all the “deleted attempts” and won’t delete, then it’ll show no old clips I’m trying to delete (it’ll show any recent clips I’ve tried to add) and that’s when it allows me to upload. It also will show all my old clips and screenshots and when I go into recently captures, it shows the most recently added captures to Xbox live. Right now, it is showing 101 clips and when I click on recently captures, it shows the 4 I managed to slip on to Xbox live only. It’ll eventually revert to the 101 clips and not show the most recent ones.

    Can you elaborate what method you are using to try and take screenshots?

    When ingame do you press the Nexus button to bring up the Home Guide, then move to the right to Capture and share, then Capture>Capture a screenshot?

    Capture game clips and screenshots provides support for this feature.

    If you have a lot of clips on your console you may want to upload them to XBox Live so you can delete some of them from the console.

    There is only a finite space for clips and shots stored on the console.
