    Recently I've been having problems with my USB, I'm unable to change my capture location to it, it says "First, format the device on your PC" but you see the thing is I already have formatted it to NTFS. I double checked on my computer 5 times already, been at it for 3 hours, trying to find solutions to my problem. My USB is a Corsair GTX 3.1 128gb, I have done the following Restarted my xbox, turned off my xbox, hard reseted my xbox, and factory resetting my xbox. This has been annoying since it was working 4 hours ago. P.S I own the Xbox Series X and don't see any problems with xbox lives statue page.

    Hello Ghost, I do not think i will be able to make captures with the USB flash drive, even if is a Corsair GTX 3.1 128gb, this has to do with the speed of reading and writing a USB stick, they are slower than an external HD with USB 3.0.

    Try using a 1TB USB 3.0 external disk for example.

    Hi There.

    i would delete any captures that are on the console, as there is only limited space for captures

    attach a external drive, and set the drive as the location for the captures, that should help

    allow game captures: captures by me

    record what happened: 5 minutes

    automatically upload: captures by me

    game clip resolution: 720p SDR

    Capture location: internal

    hi

    click the link below and run the bat file, this will restore the default location for the captures folder, it is a simple registry change.

    from there you can then change the location again
