Discus and support Captive Portal Feature in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hello Xbox Support, The Captive Portal Feature was rolled out in March 2017, but the feature does not exist on my Xbox one.     The Captive Portal Feature was rolled out in March 2017, but the feature does not exist on my Xbox one. Can someone please help me with this issue?

    Captive Portal: Feature non-existent on Xbox One

    Hello,

    I was informed recently that the Captive Portal feature was launched March 2017. However, I don't see this feature enabled on my Xbox One.

    I work for a Wireless Company and many of our broadband consumers use Xbox. This Captive Portal feature is very important to us in making our customers connect to Wifi more easier. I will like to test this feature with my Xbox One. Can someone enable this
    feature to my console?

    Hi there, i believe this is possible now on the Xbox One only though.

    Sign in using the EDGE Browser to the portal and you should be ready to go.

    There're numerous of options to circumvent a captive portal (authentication page).

    Before we begin, could you tell if you also have a computer that you use to connect to the Internet through your hotel's network.

    Hello community, new here with my antique xbox360. having trouble and need help connecting my console to my Hotel/Dorm WiFi. does anyone have any suggestions? I'm not trying to play live or multiplayer, just trying to be able to track progress in my games.
    I have the username and network key/password for the WiFi that I'm trying to connect to, but I'm not finding a way to enter them in for access.

    My other devices go to a login webpage and allow me to log in to the network from there.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Since there is no way of knowing how the hotel setup authentication for their guests to access the Internet through a captive portal, I would recommend, if possible, to use your PC, or Mac, and share its Internet connection for your console.

    The other option is to have have your computer authenticate to the captive portal splash page, disconnect it from the network, and take note of MAC address of your computer's wireless LAN adapter and type it in as your console's alternate MAC address.
