    Microsoft Movies Will Not Open

    I just bought $70 worth of new movies and already owned several other movies from before. I'd really like to watch them but the movie app won't open. I've restarted the xbox, I've reset my modem, I waited an entire day and retried. Keep getting error code
    0x8027025a

    Everything else works, Netflix, online gaming, YouTube, etc. This is frustrating beyond belief.

    Rented a movie and it instantly says the license has expired

    I did the same thing, bought two movies can't watch either one. Refund would be nice.

    Hey there KSI Assassin XL!

    Odd that the movies aren't playing for you. Since this began have you tried a full power cycle on your Xbox One? If you haven't already, please hold down the power button for 8-10 seconds (until your Xbox One shuts down), wait ~30 seconds, and then power
    it back on.

    Keep us in the loop with how it goes.

    What movie are you trying to watch exactly? If it's a movie from Paramount studios or Lionsgate, they havn't joined Movies Anywhere yet.

    So depending on the studio owning the film, it might be that they didn't make that particular movie available to Movies Anywhere. But without knowing what movie you bought, we can't say for sure.
