    Can't watch live tv without being logged in to Xbox Live?


    I recently bought the Xbox One and it appears that I can't do ANYTHING, let alone watch live tv, unless I am logged in. I am unable to connect right now, and clicking any tile just gives a noise with no action. Any thoughts?

    Netflix logs out all the time

    I can't even watch 5 minutes without being logged out of Xbox live. This is constant with each show I watch. I have no problems with other apps on Xbox. Is the problem Xbox or Netflix? This is getting ridiculous. I'm not going to pay for this service if
    it doesn't work. Any help would be great. Thanks. Kristi

    Love the tv aspect BUT

    I absolutely love the function. Amazing. Love that I can watch tv while doing something then it pops through and let's me know it's done. Love everything about it. With that being said the wife hates it. She can't stand the xbox being on to watch tv lol.
    So looks like unless in the future the passthrough works without Xbox being on I'm gonna have to unhook it Can't watch live tv without being logged in to Xbox Live? :(

    Hi buddy you have to have the xbox one on to watch live tv through the hdmi pass through

    On your xbox one.

    So to answer your question no it isnt possible to use the hdmi pass through to watch live tv without your xbox one power on

    Well we can't watch tv anymore. Please fix this issue with highest priority. The most important app on a tv is watching live tv. If that doesn't work you've failed.
