Can't watch Halo Nightfall

When trying to watch Halo Nightfall I only have the option to buy it, when I click that option it takes me to the market place and tells me it's already installed. I've contacted xbox support and after going through many attempts to resolve this they have
told me there is nothing they can do on their end and to have it resolved here. I have a physical copy of MCC and redeemed the code as instructed, I hope to get this sorted out quickly.

Halo 5 Beta

Why? Did you watch all of the Halo: Nightfall episodes? If so, you will unlock the "Nightfall" armor for Halo 5 under the rewards tab at the top right of the screen and it will prompt you to download the Halo 5 Beta.

 

Is Halo: The Master Chief Collection completely broken?

GAME IS GARBAGE!

- halo 2 won't save checkpoints if you "resume"

- matchmaking broken

- can't watch POS nightfall because the menu music LITERALLY WON'T STOP PLAYING.

Oh my god I've never seen such unprofessional garbage.

 

I am having the same exact issue. I was online trying to chat with Xbox support online but it seems like their support site is having issues because it won't load. I finally was able to chat with support on my phone and I told them the issue I was having.
They person I was chatting with told me it was because I had to update my credit card information and the only way that they could update my information was through the chat room. They wanted me to give them my credit card information in the chat. I told them
I wasn't comfortable with it and that if I had to I would just update the credit card info myself on my xbox. He told me that they only way they could fix my issue was to give them my credit card info. It seemed really shady and I told them no way. I find
it hard to believe that the only way Xbox/Microsoft could help me was by giving them my credit card through chat.

• If you have a capture card plugged into your Xbox One, please remove it because you will be unable to watch Halo Nightfall for DRM reasons.
  
• Make sure that there are no guests signed in to your Xbox One console.
• If you purchased a physical copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, please ensure that you're signed in as the profile who redeemed the Halo Nightfall 25 character code. If you purchased the game digitally, please ensure you're signed in with the account
  the game was purchased with.

Hi, i'm having a very similar problem. I watch the entire show yesterday, but when i came turned on my Xbox today to watch parts of it again, it said that I need to buy it. I clicked on that and it said to install the show. I did this and then tried to watch
it and it still continues to say that i need to buy it and now when I click on it it says that it is installed. I have done multiple power cycles on the console to no avail. I have found other support forms on xbox.com and followed those instruction but it
still is not working. Please help me!

Sorry to hear about about the Nightfall issue! If the issue is continuing to occur, I recommend trying a few additional steps:

• From the Home screen, navigate to My Games & Apps.
• Under the Apps tab, select the Halo Channel and press the Menu button.
• Select Manage and check to see if Halo: Nightfall is under the the Ready to Install section.
  
• If Nightfall is under the section, select Nightfall and then select Install.
• If Nightfall is already showing as installed, select Nightfall and press the Menu button.
  
• Select Uninstall. Once Nightfall has been uninstalled, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
  
• Once your console has powered off, wait a few minutes and then power on your console.
  
• Navigate back to My Games & Apps and select the Halo Channel.
• Press the Menu button and select Manage App.
• Under the Ready to Install section select Nightfall and select Install.
• Once Nightfall has installed, launch the Halo Channel app.
• Select the Originals tab and the select Nightfall.
• Try viewing an episode to see if the issue continues to occur.
