Can't view voice/ picture messages on the xbox one?

Same problem for me just viewing photos on a DLNA server. The picture shows behind the message telling me it can't load the picture.

" Believe me, I sometimes get annoyed when I check a message on SmartGlass and can't view it because it's voice and can't open it til I get home."

And for this very reason is why i dislike it it. Should be as simple as me selecting "Do not allow voice message" then when someone tries to send me one

1. the option to send it is greyed out or

2. there is no option.

Unless i can hear those messages on Smartglass or Xbox.com its a hinderance.

You cannot post Gamertags here. But what you can do is file complains on the players, and let the Xbox Enforcement team do the rest.

How to file complain:

-Open the player's profile by doing one of the following:

-From the Dashboard:

-Press the Guide button and select Friends.

-Scroll right to Players, then select the user.

-From a game lobby:

-Select the user.

-Select View Profile.

-Select File Complaint.

-Review the information here and when you're ready, select File Complaint again.

-Select one of the following reasons for filing the complaint:

-Profile: The player’s gamertag, personal picture, or personal information contains inappropriate material.

-Gamertag

-Personal Picture

-Personal Info

-Player Content

-Text and Voice Communications: The player used vulgar, hateful, harassing, or threatening language in voice or text communications.

-Text Message

-Voice Message

-Voice Chat

-In-Game Voice

-Video Communications: The player was vulgar, hateful, harassing, or threatening in video communications.

-Picture Message

-Video Chat

-Tampering: The player tampered with a game, an Xbox 360 console, Xbox LIVE, or the feedback system.

-Select File Complaint. Select Don’t File if you decide not to file a complaint.

Probably the reason why you can't check voice messages on smart glass or xbox.com is because of the PowerPC hardware which Xbox 360 uses. It's also the reason why you can't open them on Xbox 1 because the console has x86-64 hardware which PC's also use.
90% of the voice messages I get are OK usually friends/recent players wanting to play or organize something some love messages or sharing some music. Only less than 10% are kind of hate messages but you also get those sort of messages with txts too. On Xbox
360 you can picture message, voice message, and txt message.

I don't see why on Xbox 1 you can only send txt messages. It takes away the fun in a sense. As you probably can tell I strongly support voice messaging.

Literally already said "Harassment has been going on for other people and myself for months maybe over a year at this point but due to xbox not taking any action on the profile pictures, messages, voice chat etc etc it can not stop." in that are the ways of harassment, "profile pictures, messages, voice chat etc etc".
