Can't view picture from USB

I put a .jpg and a .PNG 1920x1080 photo on my USB flash drive to use as a dashboard background, but when I open the Picture Viewer to view the photo I can only see the .jpg one, not the .png one. And the .jpg one isn't even viewable. I only get a black
image with a white square with a cross in it.

What do I do to fix this?

Custom themes

Found it. The Pictures Viewer is in the Apps hub.

Go there, select Pictures Viewer and choose the USB drive as the source.

-

Find the picture you want and then press Y to Apply as Background.

Try converting the images to a .BMP file instead and try accessing them again on the xbox 360.

So it turns out the picture had a too high resolution (???)

A 670p pic worked, but a 720p or 1080p didn't work. The background looks blurry as *** though

I can't edit my post but I would love a way to use the 1920x1080 instead of the 670 one.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing, as well as putting music, videos, and pictures on a USB drive and viewing them off of there.
