Can't use xbox live.

I should've said this but this was my first attempt to fixing it.

Edit: I tried this a few more times, but it didnt work.

removing the profile and redownloading it back to the console.

Sounds like it could be a caching issue - try a hard reset of your console: hold the console power button down for 10 seconds
