Can't use two / multiple Xbox One Wireless Controllers on PC

Hi,

maybe someone in the forum can help me. I've the Xbox One wireless adapter and two Xbox One Wireless Controllers if both are connected I can see them in the Xbox

accessories app but I can only use one controller in Fifa16 or StreetFighter the second controller isn't visible in the game. It didn't depend on the controller itself because every time the first connected controller
is visible within the game.

I'm using Windows 10 with the latest updates and for the wireless adapter the driver 21.50.45.656

Anyone else encountering this issue or solved this problem?

The Microsoft support wasn't a help for me because the Xbox support mentioned please contact the windows team because it's a windows related and the windows team says please contact xbox team because it's a xbox acessorie. It's really frustrating.

Bluetooth controllers

After extensive testing with a new Xbox One controller I recently purchased (This model:

www.xbox.com/.../lunar-white-wireless-controller ), it seems that I was not able to connect. The Microsoft Support page (

support.xbox.com/.../connect-xbox-one-controller-to-pc ) explains with images down the page that certain Xbox controllers have Bluetooth support while others do not. While my controllers does match the one with Support in the image, I have figured that
only the new Xbox One S controllers have Bluetooth support (Listed in description:

www.xbox.com/.../xbox-wireless-controller ), despite the image shown. The best way to connect non-Bluetooth controllers is to use the Windows wireless adapter (

www.xbox.com/.../windows-wireless-adapter ) the adapter has benefits over Bluetooth, like being able to use your headsets, or connect multiple controllers, while connection through Bluetooth only allows for one controller at a time.

multiple wired 360 controllers on PC?

Is it possible to have multiple wired 360 controllers on a PC? Or will we need to buy one of those wireless controller ports?

I had this problem.

If you have an ASUS motherboard it's likely you'll have a program called AI Suite 3. If you do, uninstall it. For some reason it causes problems.

If you don't have an ASUS motherboard, or do but don't have that program installed, then I can't help. Sorry.

I've tried everything I could think of/find, but nothing.

you made my day! I've a Asus motherboard with AI Suite. I uninstalled it an it works now! It took me over 3 months to find the root cause.

Based on the Xbox support article, it says "With Xbox Wireless connections, you can connect 8 Xbox Wireless Controllers at the same time, or 4 controllers that have Xbox Chat Headsets attached. If the controllers have Xbox Stereo Headsets, only 2 can be connected at the same time."

You actually only need one Xbox wireless adapter to connect multiple controllers. If you want to use two adapaters in one single PC, it may work but if it confuses the system, you must unplug the other one.

Hi Andre ! You can't do this. Personnaly, i use two controller. One on Xbox Wireless and the second one on PC with cable. When i want to switch to recharge the battery of the first, I connect directly the controller on the PC via the cable which limits
interference with the Xbox. You mention "sync to another thing", what kind of thing ?

Hi,

Unfortunately unlike the Xbox One controllers, the wireless Xbox 360 controllers remain wireless regardless of whether you connect them to a PC with a Play and Charge. You can't make an Xbox 360 wireless controller a wired controller.

If you want to use your 360 wireless controller on a PC you'll need to buy an Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows.

The Play and Charge cable can't be used to connect a wireless controller to the PC for gaming. It might be detected but it lacks the proper connections.
