CANT USE ONLINE GAMES AND APPS

Hello , since yesterday i'm having troubles with online apps (youtube, edge) didn't open (says
try again or use offline) when i "use offline" it gets online and works ... but this problem doesn't allow me to play DESTINY the game says i must have
an xbox live account (mine expires november 2016) how can i play online games with this bug ?

I understand how this issue is frustrating, lets see if we can narrow down the cause.

Best this to try first is a hard reset of the console.

• Press and hold your finger on the Xbox Ones power button until the system shuts off
  
• When the power light on the power supply turns Orange, unplug the power supply from the rear of the console for 30 seconds.
  
• Plug the system back in a power it up
• Once booted up try to use the apps and play your game to see if the issues persist.

I too have got the same problem, I have tried a hard reset and re-booted my router to no avail.

 

Go to settings/network choose offline press console button 8 seconds, Power back up go to settings/network choose online hope this helps it worked for me, you will need to sign in good luck.

 

Thanks GrowlingYapper, your solution worked but it seems as though the problem has re-occured after my xbox reset itself while booting into Fallout 4. The problem reminds me of the old sign in error where the system thinks your profile is in use elsewhere.

Until a definitive solution is found I'll keep doing the offline reset trick.

 

Here is a solution that worked for me when it said we cannot retrieve your last game save sync issue.

1:REMOVE ANY DISC IN CONSOLE!!

2: press and hold xbox button on console for 10 seconds to turn off.

3: clear cache by pressing and holding xbox button on console for 8 seconds until power brick flashes briefly.

4: unplug power brick from both the wall and console for two minutes and then plug back in.

5: turn back on and enjoy xbox games with cloud sync again.

 

Beck MD I'm in the preview program and it is a known issue it does need fixing quick time.

 

For those who have sync and connectivity issues and are members of the dashboard preview go to settings->system and update your consoles. There is a new dashboard update fixing any issues!
