    Can't use my Xbox One to stream movies/TV shows to anymore...


    Hi there, REALLY hope someone can help me out...

    Up until a few days ago, I was able to stream movies/TV shows from my Android phone to my Xbox One via Allcast and watch them on my TV. I've been ripping my hair out trying to figure out what's wrong. I originally thought it was a problem with my phone. Then,
    yesterday, someone I know has Apple TV and with my same phone was able to stream through Apple TV no problem...which makes it assume it's my Xbox One.

    I've been to the preferences settings on Xbox and the streaming option is ticked. It just seems strange that I've been able to download movies for the past 18 months and stream them no problem, and now nothing...I haven't moved/change settings on the Xbox.

    I'd really appreciate some help!

    You can also use XBMC to store your stuff such as movies and TV shows and use any of the programs listed to stream to Xbox one

    Is someone fixing this? I just recently bought Cashern season episodes and I can't watch them either. I cant stream or watch them. I even tried deleting and redownloading. Please fix this. I really enjoy downloading & streaming movies to watch on my Xbox
    and I would hate to stop buying anymore movies or tv shows.

    Please fix this!

    The streaming library is awful. Not worth it to me even if it were free, I barely watch any movies/tv shows anymore.

    I have the same problem. I can't even purchase anything new anymore. All my movies and tv shows are gone :-( So frustrated!!!

    What a complete and utter rip off. The selection of their streaming is pretty poor movie wise, and the TV shows, while offering a good variety still do not have a lot of popular ones on there. In order to justify this price hike they better be purchasing
    the rights to more channels/movies, otherwise I will be cancelling both my dvd by mail subscription and streaming subscription and just use redbox and watch TV shows online.

    Some problems I've noticed with the xbone

    Forget Xbox Video and embrace the beauty of DLNA streaming. That way you save money and hard drive space on the console.

    I use my 360 to stream all movies and TV shows from my PC and it works wonders. Never buying a DVD or any physical movie media again.
