Can't use my xbox after update

Did you have the console disconnected from the internet when you attempted the offline system update?

If your using a ethernet wired connection from the console to your network hardware it should be unplugged prior to running the OSU.

E101 & E102 generally means the hardware is failing and will need to be repaired if a
factory reset does not solve the issue.

Try a factory reset but keep games and apps. If that fails try (last resort) a factory reset and remove everything.

If you need to manually bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, follow these steps:

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
2. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
3. Press and hold the Pair button (located below the Xbox button on the console) and the
   Eject button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
   Xbox button  on the console.
   
   Note The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition and the Xbox Series S do not have
   Eject buttons. You can bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter on this console by holding only the
   Pair button (steps 3 & 4) and then pressing the Xbox button
   .
   
4. Continue holding the Pair and
   Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.
5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.
   
6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

You can use the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter to completely restore your console to its factory settings.

Warning Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with
Xbox Live will be lost. You should only use this option as a last resort.

To restore your console from the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, select
Reset this Xbox. When prompted, select Remove everything. This will delete all user data, and all games and apps.

If you are returned to the Home screen after the console restores and restarts, your console should function correctly now.

Note If the console restore is successful, you will be prompted to repeat some general console set-up steps before you are returned to the Home screen. You will
also need to re-download your games and apps.

my Xbox live keeps crashing then it says my wifi is not connected so my game freezes and I can't do anything and it started when the June update for Xbox came out. Sometimes after I reboot the Xbox it will I only be able to play for like 10 min then I can't
use it

I can't even sign into xbox live on hughes net...When I turn my console on, it says that an update is required to sign in to xbox live, but it's currently unavailable...I installed the update via flash drive after downloading it on my computer, so I know
that the update stuck, but I can't sign in to xbox live at all...I can download updates and everything else, just can't sign in...so GAY!!!!

same here, my lounge xbox can't download the update because it can't connect to live. my bedroom xbox downloaded the update after trying to connect to live a few times. my bedroom xbox, though, can't connect to live now either and it's been updated, whats
with that? we've been tryna clock gears3 on insane over live, but now we're just gonna watch movies from the rental shop. stink.

First off, I did as you suggested and checked the contents of my Xbox hard drive. By using the Storage option under System Settings I reviewed the status of all contents on my drive. None exhibited the yellow exclamation mark.

I proceeded to try your 2nd suggestion. With my Xbox powered off, I removed the 250Gb hard drive. I plugged in a pre-configured Xbox-compatible USB key. I powered up the Xbox. The Xbox put a message that an update was required. I tried to let the update
run, but it abended after 10 minutes. Subsequent to that, I attempted to download my profile. The Xbox again reminded me that an update was required before I could connect with Xbox Live. Again, I attempted to download the update to the USB key and again
it failed after 10 minutes.

I ran a network test from the Xbox and it validated that the network, Internet and Xbox Live connectivity was working.

So, here I am, stuck in a loop… can't download my profile without the network, apparently can't use the network until some sort of update is loaded onto my Xbox… can't get the update, because I can't seem to connect to Xbox Live.

5 days and counting, no Xbox Live connectivity, no profile downloading… sounds like a major outage in Canada!
