Can't use my remote control anymore

My controller stop working too series x , factory controller . Last night working and today my samsung tv remote control my xbox and the xbox controller no longuer view by the xbox , i use another controller from my other xbox seris s , and this controller work but not the one work last night , i try the little button to match xbox with but nothing , the controller do no longuer view on my xbox series x , can control de series s but can't be view or connect to the series x anymore

The remote can't be only Infrared else it wouldn't be controlling my laptop when I am not point the remote at it. I am in front of my laptop pointing it at my xbox but my HP PC is also being controlled at the same time.



I can point my remote to the ceiling and still make the media centre on my PC pop up and then move around using the arrow keys on my 360 remote

@Studbucket33, Microsoft promote the Xbox One as "Home Entertainment System" It can't be that, if you can't control the volume with the Xbox controller. So I'm back with 2 remote devices to control one of the main functions. In this case I can better use
my smart TV as HES and the XBO as just a game console. Then I still have 2 remote but I don't need my phone where the battery time is short. Please fix that.

TV setup: I'm German living in the US. I do have some problems with the voice control because of my accent. I switched on the Xbox to German language and it works more the perfect. But then I can't use the TV function anymore, because I don't have the options
for the US cable box. During the setup for the German language, I can only choose the location Germany or Austria whats the reason for missing the setup for the cable box. I'm the only German in the US?

This is definitely an issue with the Xbox One, not any STB hardware or remotes. Everything was working fine before the update. Tried watching TV 30 minutes after update, and none of the media controls on my remote work anymore.

When I press play/ff/rewind on the remote, the Xbox One OSD highlights the button I pressed, but my STB never receives an IR signal. If I use the controller to perform the same actions, it works fine. I've tried this with 3 different universal remotes, all
of them exhibit the same issue.

This needs a patch ASAP.

Same here. After the update, the response time is super slow. I loved using the remote to watch Netflix but now it's no use. Can't really scrub, moving around is barely working at best and hate that I can't even turn off using the Media remote anymore. Looks
like the press-on feature is removed for whatever reason.

Fix this asap.
