Can't use Microsoft points to buy black ops

I was trying to buy black ops for the Xbox one and I continued to receive the following error: At the moment, this can't be purchased on Xbox one. (Ox8c150020). When I contacted Xbox about the issue I was advised to try and buy it online. I tried and found
I had to use a credit card. I advised the custome support employee that I wished to use my point and not a credit card. The employee advised I could not use the points due to the publisher of the game not allowing it. I went out and paid for those points so
I could by the one game and now I can't do so.

@ngocphi So why did the guy in the store tell me I needed to buy the Microsoft currency to buy black ops? But its a 15 pound activation code which he said I could use to buy black ops

It's actually nothing to do with the publisher.

There is currently no way to buy xbox 360 games on the xbox one or PC unless you use a credit/debit card or paypal.

To use money in your microsoft account you have to buy it using an actual xbox 360.

Do you have a friend who still has an xbox 360?

You could download your profile to that console, buy the game with your microsoft credits then delete your account off it.

You don't even have to wait for the game to finish downloading. Once you've bought it on the 360 it will be ready to install on the xbox one.

Ok so got an update from Xbox. I called and spoke to a lady with there support staff. She said that's not true that you can buy the game with your points. However you must sign into the 360 and buy it then sign into the Xbox one to play it....yea that's
the same thing that I said.....Its ***!!!! Xbox has multiple games like this. If you don't have a 360 use a friendS. I hopes this helps....

The American (NTSC-U) and the Asian (NTSC-J) of COD: Black Ops is region free. I can't find any information on the European (PAL) version of the game though. You could buy a US version of Black Ops from a US website.
