Can't use Microsoft Money on consoles or website?

hey, I had a look on the current posts but none of the answers seemed to match this right.

When i try to purchase an item I can only use my card, not my £14.50 credit I have.

It just doesn't show up as a payment method at all. at first I thought maybe it was just an error on the consoles, but on the website it doesn't even show as an option, only pay by card.

trouble is I want the borderlands PreSequel season pass while it's on deal, so don't have long to get it resolved. I also have money expiring in the 26th so need it sorted before then too.

I have xbox money in my Microsoft account but I can't use it to purchase a game online or on the console. Anyone else having any issues

Since the update, I can't buy anymore stuff on xbox.com website with the credit I've got from my previous Microsoft Points. I have to purchase on my Xbox 360 console. I can't use the credit on the website even if there is money on my Microsoft Account.

Is it normal ? Can I only use a credit card on xbox.com, even if I already have money on my Microsoft account that could be used for purchasing stuff on the marketplace ? The money from the Microsoft Points is only usable via the console, not the website ?

 

The website has never been updated to use the currency system for 360 content, but you should still be able to see it as an option on the console. If not, you'll need to contact support and speak to billing.

One thing I forgot to mention, the purchase has to be made on a 360 console in order for the currency option to show. If you're trying to make the purchase from a One, that option will not show as a valid payment option for 360 content.
