Can't use microsoft account to purchase games

So I was trying to buy a game by using my microsoft account, but when I tried using it, it was greyed out and it wouldn't do anything when it was pressed can anyone help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By any chance are you trying to use the credit on your Microsoft account? If so, I would like to let you know that you can't use the money in your Microsoft account to purchase content from the Xbox 360 Marketplace.

To resolve this issue, purchase the item on your Xbox 360 console, where you can use your Microsoft account balance to make purchases.

Regarding backwards compatible purchases on the xbox one

You can't use the money in your Microsoft account to purchase content from the Xbox 360 Marketplace.

To resolve this issue, purchase the item on your Xbox 360 console, where you can use your Microsoft account balance to make purchases.

Do you have a valid payment type selected? Are your regions compatible?

Is there any additional information you can provide that may help us?

Did you have enough funds in the account to pay for the content (plus any applicable taxes which would be incurred)?

If not, you would need to select a secondary payment method and it would then ask if you wanted to use the Microsoft Account (MSA) first, and then it would empty the MSA and take the remainder from the secondary payment method.

It means that you were not able to purchase the game using that account. Kindly check other Microsoft account. Without the transaction for the game we can't validate the license.
